Band Audition Details

BAND AUDITIONS
All incoming students and current Lincoln students not currently enrolled can audition by filling out the audition form and submitting appropriate videos by April 21st. All current music students should submit videos on this page. But use the audition form on Canvas. No music experience: Beginning Band (Called "Performance Band" on the course selection form). No videos necessary, just fill out the audition form. NOTE: Performance Band is for students with NO musical experience. If you want to learn another instrument you should complete an audition on your primary instrument and select "wind ensemble/concert band". Students can learn a secondary instrument in a higher-level class. Symphonic Band: Intermediate level. -Fill out the audition form -Submit Video(s) with scales and etude Wind Ensemble: Advanced level -Fill out the audition form -Submit Video(s) with scales and etude Jazz Bands: Intermediate to advanced. -Fill out the audition form -Submit Video(s) with scales, etude and blues progression - Horn line should also sign up and audition for wind ensemble/Symphonic Band - Horn line needs to submit only ONE audition form and scale recordings Please submit your audition form and videos by Friday April 21st. |
